Research Associate (m/f/d) in Microeconomics (Information and Uncertainty)
The Department of Economics: Information and Uncertainty at the University of Hohenheim invites applications for a 75% Research Associate position in the field of Microeconomics (Information and Uncertainty), starting on December 1, 2025 (or later by agreement). The position is remunerated according to the German public sector pay scale (TV-L E13).
We offer an intellectually stimulating research environment and a collegial, supportive atmosphere within the Institute of Economics.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the chair’s research projects in the area of microeconomics.
- Teach courses at the Bachelor’s and Master’s level.
- Supervise Bachelor’s and Master’s theses.
- Assist in the academic administration and organization of the chair.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree (or PhD) in economics or a closely related field.
- Strong quantitative skills and a keen interest in theoretical economic modeling.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to take on responsibility.
